Wikipedia is one of my favourite sites. I became an editor/user in June 2006. I'm an Englishman, and my speciality where editing is concerned is politically related articles. One of the things I first noticed is that Wikipedia seemed to have extensive information about virtually every American Congressman or vice-presidential nominee etc who has existed since the 18th Century, but not on British Members of Parliament (MPs) prior to the 1997 general election. I am working, with both my knowledge on the subject and various sources, to help to fill this gap - and now think there is an article for every British MP who has been elected since 1959, and also all the living MPs, serving or not. I'd also like to think there's an article for every female MP since 1918 when women were given the right to vote in the United Kingdom. Please alert me if you notice an exception! The 100-year old Bert Hazell, born in 1907, is currently the oldest MP.

But I do look at other subjects such as the world's oldest person and films, and will edit something if I feel it's appropriate. I welcome with open arms the polite, constructive comments from other users about how to improve my articles and contributions.
