[edit] Naming

Dove-Myer or Dove-Meyer? Google gets 900 hits for Dove-Myer and 10,000 for Dove-Meyer. He's on the List of NZ politicians as Dove-Meyer, as well (redirected to here). Does this page need to be moved?Grutness 23:44, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Interesting. Both forms do indeed seem to appear on the internet, but the Auckland City Council uses "Dove Myer" quite consistantly. For example, the page about "Dove-Myer Robinson Park" and the "Statue of Dove-Myer Robinson". Also, there's the Auckland City Libraries page listing Mayors. But I also seem to be getting different numbers than you — when I do a Google search for "Dove-Meyer Robinson" (quote marks included) I get only 57 results, as opposed to 503 results for "Dove-Myer Robinson" (quotes included). Am I doing something wrong? -- Vardion 05:50, 5 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Hm. Maybe my fault. I've just checked again, and the numbers I gave were without the quotes, which would skew things. Interestingly I found three websites that used both spellings, so I'm not the only one confused! Grutness 09:06, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Park

"a park also bears his name." -- what park? Not Myers Park, Auckland? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.238.15.131 (talk) 01:27, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

The Dove-Myer Robinson Park, as linked to above! But I will add it into the article as well. Ingolfson (talk) 15:33, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
