Hello, I wrote many articles on Russian rulers here and I believe that Volodar, Mikhail II of Tver, and many other rulers will get their articles sooner or later. Cheers, Ghirla -трёп- 13:33, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thutmose

The Manethonian spelling is anlasized as Thutmosis. I'm really more knowlegable about Hatshepsut- please let me know if/when you do any work on her article or anything else. -JCarriker 16:36, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

Apologies for the slow response. I added to the Oleh of Chernihiv talk section you started. Cossack 02:02, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Early Russia rulers

I think we'd better not. Your data about Oda is stale and is pure guesswork based on Karamzin who wrote 200 years ago, without reading the original sources. Although such delusions still proliferate in the amateur Web sites, I'm not going to replicate them here. It is not a matter which "story" is correct, as Oda is mentioned only once in the Stade annals and only one interpretation of her ancestry is possible. I already wrote Family life and children of Vladimir I to put an end to some of the guesswork associated with his wives and children. I have neither time nor desire to do the same for every Russian ruler. Let only the correct information be present in the article. Besides this project is an encyclopedia not a genealogical monography. As for rulers of Tver, don't worry about them: I will do articles on all of them when I have enough time. Ivan I and Simeon I are also to be expanded. Don't worry, I shall fill in these voids myself. --Ghirla -трёп- 06:24, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
