Dripetrua, queen of Laodice - daughter of Mithridates VI of Pontus
An unusual feature about her was that she was born with a double row of teeth. She had a facial deformity because of this. Her notable appearance was like what we may see in a side circus act today.
She was however devoted to her father Mithridates VI of Pontus and loved him very much in spite of this deformity. She stayed at his side despite his defeat by Pompey the Great in the Third Mithridatic War of 75 BC to 65 BC. In this way she showed that natural deformities should not be held against one's parents, since it was Mother Nature's handiwork.
