[edit] Member of the Ministry

In 1968 he became a member of the new Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs in Victoria.

What does this mean? Was there a Department of Aboriginal Affairs and was he one of its employees? He certainly wasn't an elected politician, so he wasn't a member of a political ministry. Was he on the personal staff of the Minister? Does it refer to some sort of Aboriginal religious ministry? Any ideas? -- JackofOz 07:44, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
