[edit] simple biographical data

To Djcentury, since I'm assuming you actually are Doug Century, would you mind adding some simple bio info (birthdate; clarification of citizenship, etc.) to the article and can you provide a source for any biographical information on you? At the moment there are no bibliographic sources. And I left a brief message for you on your talk page. Thanks. Pinkville 00:37, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

To Pinkville. Hi, yes, it's me. You're Colin? I was born in Calgary in 1964. I am American and Canadian. American citizenship through my father, a Chicago-born petroleum geologist and my mother, a Brooklyn-born education psychologist. As you know, grew up in Chinook Park. Can you add this? I'm not really up to speed on this stuff. And thanks!Djcentury 23:57, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

And yes, it's me. I can add what's relevant. WP biographical articles usually include certain bits of info in roughly the same format, so this article would begin: "Douglas Century (born XX XXX 1964) is a Canadian-American writer...", or in a similar fashion. [By the way, your birthday and month would be good to add as well.] Birthdates, citizenship/country of origin and reason for notability (i.e. occupation, etc.) are usually non-controversial but it's still always good to have a published or otherwise authoritative source... and essential for any other information that is included in the article. For a better idea of how this all works, have a look at some other WP biographies (particularly those that have Featured Article status). Meanwhile, if you're interested, let's continue this discussion on your talk page. Pinkville 01:55, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
