Is this guy anything to do with Hunter S. Thompson because if not incoming links should be changed to avoid misleading people.

[edit] Incorrect succession to Ambrose, and yes to HST

Doug Brinkley became director of the Eisenhower Center long before Stephen Ambrose died. Ambrose brought him to New Orleans specifically to head the Center after Ambrose retired from UNO. And Brinkley is one of Hunter S.
