Footnotes are not needed in the lead paragraph. If you feel you need to include/source the "Sandy" nickname, write a sentence in the body of the article and source it there.
- Prose needs cleanup--there are many ambiguities and colloquialisms scattered throughout the article that can confuse readers, particularly if english is not their native language.
- The Philosophic/ financial views section: consider renaming that and clarifying the prose. As it stands, the header makes one think you are going to discuss his philosophy and views, then you write about how others see him. Also, are you taling about how he transformed one bank or many?
- Photos: I think that photo of the Augusta golf course should be deleted. It adds nothing to the article except decoration. Also, consider dropping the flag jpeg from the info box. It seems unnecessarily jingoistic to me. Jeffpw 09:19, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Need Assistance
If you would like to improve on this article, please
- Expand on the The 2000 Merger subsection since it is what Warner will be most noted for besides being CEO of J.P. Morgan.
- Incorporate into the article the information from Teitelman, Robert. (March 1996). Institutional Investor. Morgan enters the Warner era. (J.P. Morgan and Co. under the leadership of Chairman Sandy Warner)(Cover Story). Volume 30; Issue 3; Pg. 26, as the article has a most in-depth information on Warner and I have not had the time to include the majority of it in the article.
- Once you completed any of the above tasks, please delete the request for that task. Thanks for your interest. -- Jreferee 18:08, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unnecessary antagonism
Not that I want to necessarily defend Mr. Warner, but it seems to me that this article has a number of unnecessarily anatagonistic jabs at him. In particular, the comments "... and having genes that give stature merely from being tall, Warner additionally had another unearned advantage over other Yale applicants..." and the repeated references to his draft status. It's not clear that he did anything in particular to avoid being drafted, and the additional reference to President GW Bush's military service (or lack thereof) also does not belong in this article.
