No deletion please. This page is an attempt at beginning to chronicle the leaders of the emerging church movement... people like Brian McLaren and Doug Pagitt are influential voices. This isn't spam and wasn't started by Doug or anyone associated with him.

Umm. It says He has received some serious flack from conservative evangelical Christianity, maybe the most from a fellow Emergent church leader, Mark Driscoll. Not to mention D.A. Carson in his book "Becoming Conversant with the Emergent Church". [1]. For more information see the article on the Emerging Church. Yet nowhere in the Emergent Church article does it mention this? --Emplynx 02:49, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Sorry to point this out but "received some serious flack" can be expressed in a more scholarly, objective way. I will try to change the wording while maintaining the meaning.--Will3935 21:57, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
