It might be worth to mention that Ghouls 'n Ghosts was the first game featuring double jump (in case that is actually true, since I don't now any earlier game) and it might also be worth mentioning that double jump only become popular with 3D platform games, most 2D games had only a single jump from what I remember, and the reason for this is probally that the double jump allows to 'correct' a bad jump easily, which happen in 3D games far more often then in 2D games due to bad camera placement and 3D environment. -- 83.135.224.155 15:53, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

I think that it is not altogether accurate to say that double jumping is a bug, or even unintended. I see no evidence for this, and none is cited in the article. Evidence to the contrary includes that this 'bug' has been known to the developers of Quake since beta, and has not been 'fixed'. --Cosmicfool 21:11, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

Can anyone get me an explaination for there being double jumping in Tony Hawk's Underground? I seriously don't get it...24.118.175.163 01:41, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ishi Biniki?

Is this even a real game? The only results I get on google are this page. I think the first game to have a double jump was probably Dragon Buster in 1984.
