Doulat

Doulat (also spelled Dowlat) is a district in northern Tehran, Iran.

Doulat is mostly suburban in nature and is located between Shariati street and Pasdaran street. It passes across Daroos, Dibaji, Ekhtiarieh districts.

Doulat (meaning government) is the old name of this street and after the Iranian Revolution the name was changed to "Shahid Yousef Kolahdooz". This is currently the official name.

Now there are many apartments bulit in the alleys and streets which are connected to Kolahdooz street and in rush hours heavy traffic or even traffic jams aren't unusual.

Many shops and restaurants are located in this street. Many people spend their free hours for window shopping.

The cemetery for World War II soldiers is located in this street.
