Douglas Saunders

Douglas Clive Anthony Saunders (born February 15 1949) is a Jamaican diplomat. He is an Ambassador for Jamaica and currently holds the post of Permanent Secretary in Jamaica's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, he has served in various diplomatic positions for Jamaica, including as Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, and Ambassador to the European Union.
He has three sons, and is currently married to M. Angela Robertson, a lawyer, also from Kingston. They married in August 2007 in Port Antonio, on Jamaica's northeast coast.
