Douglas Pipes

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Douglas Pipes is a film music composer who's most well-known work to date is the 2006 soundtrack to Monster House (film). His loud, brassy instrumentations have drawn comparisons to action-music composer guru Alan Silvestri. His chance encounter with Gil Kenen at UCLA California made him the perfect composer for this astounding sound track.

Douglas grew up in Anaheim near Disneyland, and played in a number of local bands in Orange County. These include the Wahdels, the Instigators, and Pipes & Drums.
