Douglas Jimerson

Douglas Jimerson is an American singer known for his interpretation of Civil War songs. He was featured in 7 songs in the United States Academic Decathlon's Music of the Civil War Era. He is widely renowned for his large, burly appearance and impressive beard. He sings in the tenor range and rarely has been known to sing in falsetto.

His most recent performance entitled "Jimerson Live at the Kennedy Center" was attended by thousands. He sang 12 of his most popular songs composed by a variety of artists. His performances was later compiled into an album released in 2004 by Amerimusic.
