Douglas Harding

Douglas Edison Harding (1909 - 2007) was an English mystic, philosopher, and author of many books.
Developer of a modern method of meditation that enables participants to actually see who they really are. His method involves leading subjects in a series of experiments that reverse attention. This allows the subject to enjoy the experience of unity with the universe.
Harding was born in Lowestoft on 12 February 1909. He was raised in the Exclusive Plymouth Brethren, but was excommunicated at the age of 21. He died in Nacton on 11 January 2007.
