Doug Stephan (born on November 5, 1946 in Cambridge, Massachusetts) is a radio talk show personality and the host of the nationally syndicated Doug Stephan's Good Day, which airs six days per week. Good Day features a fast paced entertaining format with a variety of topics, guest co-hosts and interviews. Typical listeners are independent thinkers who call in and contribute to the show, giving it a personal atmosphere.
Good Day airs 5-10 AM ET Monday through Friday (with some stations airing an hour from a previous show at 4 AM ET) and on Saturday (Good Day Weekend) starting at 4 AM. The show is broadcast nationally via various networks through Talk Shows USA. According to Talkers Magazine estimates, Good Day has over 3 million listeners per week on over 400 stations.
Doug Stephan found his radio voice as a deejay in the early 1960s and being more glib than most was destined to be a full time talker. He broadcasts from his home in Framingham, Massachusetts where he operates a dairy farm. Everyday farm happenings are one of the most charming aspects of the show, and a good portion of listeners are farmers.
Stephan also hosts the Saturday morning Talk Radio Countdown, a countdown of the top 10 topics discussed in talk radio. Talkers Magazine publisher Michael Harrison (publisher) is a frequent guest on this show. Talk Radio Countdown airs live Saturdays from 6-9 AM ET, also distributed by Talk Shows USA.
