Doubleview is a generally 'well heeled' suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Stirling. It has two very different sides, on the northern side of Scarborough Beach Road homes have been bulldozed for triplexes and duplexes and is considered less prestigious whereas the section bordering Woodlands and Hale School nicknamed "Doubleview Hill" is an affluent locale with luxury homes perched on the hill to capture beautiful views.

The suburb was named Doubleview due to its views of both the Indian Ocean to the west and the Perth CBD and Darling Range to the east. Its post code is 6018.

Doubleview is generally a residential area, lying between Scarborough to the west and Innaloo to the east on the heavily-trafficked Scarborough Beach Road (the primary artery providing access to the areas between and including Scarborough and Glendalough from the CBD). Other surrounding areas include Karrinyup and Woodlands have several schools in them, making Doubleview a popular family neighborhood. Local schools include:

  • Primary (elementary) schools
    • Doubleview Primary School (public)
    • Scarborough Primary School (public)
    • Newborough Primary School in Karrinyup (public)
    • Deanmore Primary School in Karrinyup (public)
    • Kapinara Primary School (public)
    • St John's Primary School (private)
  • High (secondary) schools (see Western Australian education system)

Also, Doubleview is near the Scarborough Police and Citizen's Youth Club, a local functions center at which indoor sports and blue light discos are frequently held for local children.
