Double Negative is a 1985 independent short comedy film "about a film-making prodigy who must protect his horror film - Coathanger Massacre - from the paws of his meddlesome producers, is an exceptionally promising first effort."[1]
"The featurette, which [Sam Irvin] wrote, directed and produced, was a sharply-observed look at low-budget filmmaking."[2]
The film was self-financed by Irvin and it was an official selection for the Sundance Film Festival.[3]
