The Double-banded Courser (Rhinoptilus africanus) is a species of bird in the Glareolidae family.
It is sometimes classified as the sole member of the genus Smutsornis as Smutsornis africanus.
It is found in Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Namibia, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.
