This is a screenshot from Day of the Tentacle, an adventure game developed and published by LucasArts. This is a shot of the intro sequence where purple tentacle grows arms after drinking a toxic substance, he then decides to "take on the world".
This was taken by myself in ScummVM using aspect ratio correction and the advmame2x filter.
