Combining the most popular material of Selena Quintanilla, the tragically murdered Queen of Tejano music, with that of Ana Barbara, the singer many consider her successor, is perhaps an obvious marketing ploy, but it nevertheless provides a chance to compare the very different styles of these two talented women. On songs like the vintage "Como La Flor" and "Tu Solo Tu," Selena's vocals are nuanced and delicate, while on "La Trampa" and "Bandido" Ana Barbara's full-bodied voice emotes like La Reina Grupera she has undoubtedly become.
