I created this page from information I gathered off of a number of different websites. The dates of birth and death seem to be commonly accepted, as do the references to the song "Hang on Sloopy". The specific information about her career is harder for me to prove, and besides I'm not sure how to cite references off of an internet page. Still, I made a good faith effort to provide some basic information about this woman and word the article as neutrally as possible. If anyone can add to this, provide specific references, or even just offer some feedback, I'd appreciate it. I hope this page doesn't just get deleted by some bot.
