Phenomenon acknowledged
So, you want proof... May I add here that there were a lot of singers with extreme vocal ranges. Another thing is that most of these persons also had a mythic aura about them that made it impossible to judge their range "academically". Of course, if you appreciate the accuracy of a world record you need to pursue that. But a "phenomenon" also is what the word says.

Actually Tireh does have a 7 octave voice, he can sing lower than B1 and higher than C#8 the highest note ive heard him hit was a E#8 and i also fixed the link that said he can only do up to a G5 in CHEST VOICE becuase the clip i have is a B5, full voice no falsetto. And you overly obsessed MC people need to stop putting false Mariah information she only has a 5 octave range from whats been released to the public, so stop trying to credit her to have the same range as Tireh until she actually sings higher than her G#7 from 13 years ago or her A2, the last person who edited this should see i deleted your Carey fascinations.

- hello! i wanna say that tireh's voice is quite powerful! he can compete with whitney houston for his chest voice. And i dunno if mc fans were the one deleting those chest notes clockings and changes it G5. I also have a clip of Mariah singing in G#6 in chest voice and still they keeps on deleting and changing it to G5. I dunno what's in a "G5" that they love to alter supposedly higher chest voice than g5 to "G5".

- I'd just like to point out that B1 to F8 (because there is no such note as E#8) is 6 octaves and 4 notes. So in your own words "unless he actually sings 7 ocatves stop changing it." Also Mariah range is 5 Ocatves and 2 Notes because she has sung down to an F2 in the Stevie Wonder Tribute in 2005 and up to a A7 in a rendition of Emotions in 1993.

The VOICE!
After listening to Tireh's wonderful instrument (that is beyond a voice that is truly a gift from god.) I really think he is an amazing talent. I have never in my 40 years heard a voice with such power, such tone, such perfection. I am a huge fan of big voices, but this is by far the best I've heard (putting males into a separate category. I just don't understand why he is being compared to Mariah Carey or Minnie Ripperton (with all due respect), but his vocal ability and quality surpasses the both of them because he is male and his voice is much thicker and stronger. I cant wait until the album comes out; I'm already a fan

my question is.... why are grown people sitTing on a encyclopedia page debating somones talent? Just that alone should tell people that he's worth an argument. - Look, the paragragraph stated" it is noted by recordings AND HIS OFFICAL SITE, that Tireh Possesses a 7 octave range". His offical site www.tireh.com says he has a 7 octave range not 6 citing that as a refrence. lastly the whole b1-c#8 is a scale that he can do with his voice not his range, so your edit has been reverted back
And where does it Say Tireh is in the Guiness book of world records with adam lopez, its saying thier range has similarities, such as being males hitting C#8

what is his actual range then, and i mean notes. you seem to know alot about him. 6 Octaves is a massive range, let alone 7!
if he can scale from b1-c#8, i think you should link the clip to this site, and stop alot of crap coming from people. because you will get mariah, or minnie, or adam fans on here messing everything up.
the article, and his site did say he was tied with adam lopez by guiness. or that it was submitted to them.
- I was not being rude, I was just letting you know that the facts have been stated and thats why it hasnt yet been changed, Once i get my hands on somemore of this guys music i will post the clips but as for now his website will handle verfication for anyone who feels as though they need it. And yes his website did say that his Range was going to be submitted to the GBOWR,never once even mentioning Adam Lopez. Tireh decided against this because he's not in it for competition with Adam, only thing they have in common are that they are both Males and have extensive vocal ranges, thats all and to set the record straight Adam and Tireh are friends they laugh about this stuff Tireh told me that in an email last week.
I will continue to watch this article to see how it goes. Until then, I, and most others, would prefer civilised discussion with a tolerable degree of respect. Yanington.
I agree with yanington about being able to voice your opinion, but at the same time if you were the one who left the post last time it was very rude, and i also agree with the above post that said if you dont like, then why comment?
Personally I don't see anything wrong with his voice, I love it. And butterfly live sounds a hell of a lot better than what I have heard mariah do in recent years, you all really need to stop being so judgmental and its very obvious that its Mariah fans calling his voiceairy. maybe he was mocking what he heard because every remake that i have heard him do he copies it exactly likes he hears it. But yanington you are not making anything better by coming in telling Tireh's fans not to defend him. Not only that but making cocky and arrogant comments like" I will make my final decision" as if Tireh was a panelist on American Idol. Your opinion will be respected as an opinion because it is what "you feel", but don't come here trying to validate your negativity as the last and final words, its is truly not worth it and to be honest noone wants to hear it. That's why its being deleted constantly. I think it takes more than a few recordings to truly judge someone's voice right? Its not like he has a Brittany Spears voice doing a Whitney Houston song. I think we all can say negative things about this artist but truth be told none of us can probally sing like this, and to be honest he is a little off key in buttefly live , thats because he mimicking Mariah Carey who is constantly off key in live performances.

Where Is His Album
I keep hearing all thid talk about him and how he is such a good astist and etc. but i have yet to see any type of media about an album let alone a record deal. How long ago was he signed, and how come he has not released an album yet?
Answering Questions
Hello all, I'm the webmaster of the former Tireh.com, and I'm here to answer most of the questions people have been asking. First I would like to say that Tireh.com was taken down until we could get "up to date" and current media for fans and press. The site will return early summer. Secondly I'm noticing a lot of negative comments coming from anonymous users, who keep insisting to compare Tireh to other singers, rate his vocals and constantly find the need to be judgmental. Its your right to say what ever you would like to say about whom ever, however make sure you make sense. I have people posting new comments about his voice when there has been no media placed on this site in nearly 10 months being that I disabled the site source last May. My question how can you leave comments about his voice, where exactly are you hearing clips from? because they don't exist leaving me to believe the comments are made in pure vandalism and in ways to make him look bad to other visitors who have yet to hear him sing. Doing my research, I have come to find that most of the same IP's are on Mariah's page writing responses to people who dont like her, why are people so obsessed with trying to make people think that anyone else who can whsitle or sing high besides Mariah are terrible singers, sing off key and squeal insted of whistle? lol anyway thats besides the point. Last, there will be new media posted as soon as we get this final release from the label, The album is being mastered now. There are a few songs that I think will surprise some people and shut all the haters up. if there are anymore questions please feel free to direct them to me. Being that I'm the only one who has heard this artist in a full spectrum, I believe I'm the only one who can speak validly about his vocal ability.

Second why don't you just bust an audio or video sample. Give us some proof besides "your" word, since you came here and contradicted half the people here. Because all this talk but nothing has been proven we can "prove" Mariah sings that high. I'm sure Tireh or Mr. alonzo is a very fine vocalist but i hate hype when there's no back up so please can you give us a sample of something from Tireh because I'm a tough music critic and i want proof.
P.S. Don't just give us a scream i mean i want proof in which he is scaling up to his highest belting note into his highest whistle note. I wanna see and hear him. Oh and he has to like add vibrato and riffs cause i consider just hitting to amateur for what he has been hyped up to do and can u make him hold it long enough so we verify that those are the notes. Thank You.
WOW! This entire talk page is a mess and just plain full of haters, Mariah never hit a A7,not on record and not live EVER, secondly i have about 6-7 clips of his voice does anyone know how to convert them so that they can be posted on here cause i will be more han happy to post them.

Mariah has everything to do with it and trust me I can tell by the strain in her voice that g#7 is hih as she can go , if this want the case she would have sang that key not chirped it. people cant and wont except the fact that she is not the only one who has a whistle register, just get over it its not that serious I'm goign to worrk on those samples today i have another member helping me do it.
