Dorothy Leland

Dr. Dorothy Leland is the 19th president of Georgia College & State University and the second female president of the university on January 1, 2004.

She has written over 40 papers and other publications about contemporary continental philosophy, dealing with gender and personal, social and cultural identity.

Leland holds a B.A degree in English, a M.A. in American studies, and a Ph.D in philosophy, all from Purdue University.
