Dorothy King (born 1975) is a British archaeologist and historian, the author of a number of books on ancient Greece and Rome.

Her book on The Elgin Marbles provided a context for British retention of the Marbles against Greek claims, but has also attracted extremely sharp criticism [1]. Other publications cover Caryatids, Hellenistic variant column capital types, Greek and Roman architectural sculpture and Late Republican History. She also lectures on Islamic Art.
