Dorothy Barresi

Dorothy Barresi (b. 1957) is an American poet.
Born November 13 in Buffalo, New York and raised in Akron, Ohio, Barresi won the Barnard Women New Poets Prize for her first book, All of the Above. She teaches in the English Department at California State University at Northridge, where she is Chair of the Creative Writing Program.
She and her husband, Phil Matero, live in Los Angeles with their two children, Andrew and Dante.
