Dormaa Or better Dormaa Ahenkro is a town in Dormaa District, Ghana. Dormaa Ahenkro is located in the Brong Ahafo region,on the west side of Ghana. It is only 15 kilometers from the Ivory coast border. Dormaa district has its own Imperial Chief, Nana Agyeman Badu 2nd. A district Hospital "Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital" founded in 1955.

There is a reliable busline between Accra - Kumasi - Sunyami - Dormaa travel fee circa Euro 12 (2006)for the 450 km. It takes 7 hour traveltime Trotro (mini bus) is not recommendable for foreigners.
