Dorien Grey

Dorien Grey is the pseudonym of Roger Margason (born in Northern Illinois), an openly gay[1] American author. Margason was in the U.S. Navy and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BA in English.[2]
Grey is the author of the eleven-book Dick Hardesty mystery series, four of which have been finalists for a Lambda Literary Award. In addition, the series received a WordWeaving Series of Excellence award.
He also has a homosexual western/romance/adventure novel, Calico, aimed at young adults and traditional western buffs, and has just completed the first book of a second series to alternate with the Dick Hardesty series.
