[edit] History
Originally from Fort William in the Highlands of Scotland, Dorian are a 3-piece band now based in Glasgow and Dundee. They play indie rock music fuelled by their passion for such bands as Mansun, Ash and Mew.
The band is named after the cult classic Oscar Wilde novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray".
With the line up being completed at the beginning of 2007, Dorian are new to the scene but have already made a name for themselves with their debut demo being showcased by various industry establishments including Xfm and King Tut's Wah Wah Hut... and they achieved all that even before playing a gig. Dorian offer something different from the rest, believing that "good music is music that cannot be predicted or sussed-out". This, along with the ability to create powerful, thought-provoking melodies is what makes Dorian, Dorian.
