Doral Academy Charter High School is located in the Doral suburb of Miami, Florida. It used to be a psychiatric hospital, but after it went out of business, was turned into a high school. The school has small classes (about 25 in each class) and recently was accredited by the SACS committee. Doral Academy is a great school with well educated teachers, a positive staff, and students eager to prepare themselves for the future. Our sport rivals include Ronald Reagan Doral High and Mater Academy.
For a medium sized school, everything is offered. There is a newly built football field, soccer field, softball, baseball, two basketball courts, a tennis court and a pool.
There is also a newpaper being published in Doral Academy. It is called the Phoenix, which is the equivalent of a firebird.
Firebirds have a tremendous amount of spirit and passion for their school. We love Doral Academy Charter High!!!
GO FIREBIRDS!
