[edit] Welcome
Hey, welcome, thanks for the help on pesticide (and for catching my spelling error!). Glad to have your expertise added to the project. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask, I'm always glad to help. Just leave me a note on my talk page. Peace, delldot talk 03:10, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hey again, mind if I move your post on Talk:Pesticide to the bottom of the page under a new header so no one misses it? By the way, I think it's great that you're working on the lead paragraph, it definitely needs it. Peace, delldot talk 04:31, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pesticide notes
Hey, thanks for the note. I'm excited that you're getting involved in the pesticide article, you can see it needs an expert's eyes. I'll go ahead and move the section down on the talk page.
I don't have any problem with removing the sentence, I would just recommend just mentioning on the talk page that you did and why. That way if anyone has a problem with it, they can say so and the two of you can come to some agreement. To be perfectly policy-minded, it's not cited, so you can remove it on that basis alone (not that it would be hard to find sources for a statement that bland); and it uses a dangerous word, "many", which doesn't have a good definition and I believe is listed in Wikipedia:Words to avoid. Plus it is kind of tacked on there. So you might just take it out and put a note on the talk page saying that you took it out and why. Luckily I don't think anyone's that territorial about the article, so you probably don't even have to be that careful (I'm one of the more careful editors; most people would probably just explain what they're doing in their edit summary). But anyway, yeah, thanks for getting involved, definitely let me know if you need anything. The project can indeed be intimidating, but do be bold, because there's nothing you can do that can't be fixed, and you're more qualified to be contributing than most people! [edit] Your input requested
Hey Don, long time no see. Hope you're doing well. I came to ask you for input at Pesticide resistance. Someone mentioned on the talk page that they thought there was an anti-pesticide bias to the article, and I think they're right (probably a large part my fault, I've had a much easier time finding anti-pesticide info than pro). I wondered if you could help flesh out the article so it doesn't have mostly info on the negative aspects? They also brought up a bunch of possible inaccuracies, so it would be good to get your expert eyes on it. Sorry to put you to work, I know you're probably busy in real life. - Hi! Replied on my talk. delldot talk 03:36, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
