I noticed that the album "Heartbeat" is stated as having been released in 1987. I have a copy of it, and the copyright is for "1986 CBS, Inc." Perhaps the video came out afterward, in '87, and this caused the mix-up.

[edit] Billion Dollar Mystery?

I distinctly remember Don Johnson being arrested on the Swiss border with over $1,000,000,000 dollars in his trunk. I never heard how it was resolved or why Miami Vice had a billion dollars. Anyone know?--TheGrza 21:43, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

It was actually $8,000,000,000. Here's a link to a story about it:
http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/TV/03/16/don.johnson.ap/
And according to this, he was cleared of any wrongdoing:

And here's an article about Don Johnson going from $8 billion to bankrupt:

The two Yahoo links are now dead and should be removed. 145.253.108.22 08:22, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Political

"Supports the Democratic party."

Is this able to be verified? Ajwebb 21:30, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

  • I noticed now that "Strongly" was added into this statement and the party changed from Democrat to Republican. Since this is the case, I added the Citation Needed tag. Ajwebb 00:34, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

On another note, I removed The DJXchange from the fansite list as it was no longer active. Ajwebb 22:43, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Brishes with the law?

Shouldn't bankrupcy be in this section? 145.253.108.22 08:20, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Aftershave

I can find no mention of this on the net anywhere. Unless a citation is provided, methinks this is nonsense. Apologies if proved wrong :) MrMarmite 11:40, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

I am about to delete the aftershave mention, and also the other non-cited trivia like "hanging out with Clint" and naming his socks MrMarmite 20:36, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Driver's Ed video

I remember seeing a driving safety video with Johnson in it. I specifically remember him drawing attention to the fact that he never wore a seat belt on the show, but that, despite that, the kids watching it should.

Does anyone else remember this? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by JeremiahBritt (talk • contribs) 15:20, 26 January 2007 (UTC).
