[edit] Sampling?
Whoever edited this article clearly doesn't know what the word means. The "Mama say mama sa ma-makossa" bit is in different keys for all three songs; it was quoted, not sampled. MJ's whooping and hollering, however, was taken directly from the recording of Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'. See the difference?75.49.251.170 (talk) 03:12, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] UK
Wasn't this supposed to be released in the UK before the US? Tcatron565 14:02, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unneeded section header
Wikipedia:Guide_to_layout#Headers_and_paragraphs recommends (for good reason) against short sections, which is particularly relevant to this article, in which the paragraph about the music video is not large enough for its own separate section. Extraordinary Machine 19:53, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Rihanna05.jpg
Image:Rihanna05.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Hee-HEE!!
Someone should put in that the song also has Michael's voice going "Hee-HEE!". You know, his little screechy thing he does. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.71.71.110 (talk) 19:18, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, can't do that it's going in chronological order with no extras. Charmed36 (talk) 02:49, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

- Hot Hits is not the official chart in Australia. The hot hits is a request chart. Which means that people request songs and the most reuqested are played. So this means that Don't Stop the Music is not yet a single. It has to be played normally or be anoucced by the radio station. BatterBean (talk) 04:35, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Techno?
An editor has previously placed a techno genre tag in the info box for this song. For the time being, I have removed it, as I don't feel it is appropriate for this record. However, I'm opening a discussion thread about the subject. I agree that this record qualifies as "dance pop," obviously, but does it meet the requirements of a techno classification? Please respond below. --InDeBiz1 (talk) 23:08, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
