Donovan Simmonds (born October 12, 1988) is an English footballer, who currently plays as a striker for Coventry City. He joined them on a free transfer after being released by Charlton Athletic following the 2006-7 season. He is one of a number of new Coventry City signings to have previously worked with manager Iain Dowie.
On March 27, 2008 it was announced that he had joined Gillingham on loan until the end of April,[1]. where he wore shirt number 2, a number usually associated with rightbacks.[2] He made his Gillingham debut in a 2–1 home win against Luton Town on April 1.
