Donna Savarese

Donna Savarese (born December 1967) [1] is an Emmy Award-winning reporter most recently with KMOV in St. Louis, Missouri, the CBS affiliate. She was also the co-anchor of their weeknight 6 p.m. newscast. Prior to working at KMOV, Savarese was Weekend Anchor/Reporter at KHWB in Houston, Texas. She also anchored at WJXX in Jacksonville, Florida, WFSB in Hartford, Connecticut and WWLP in Springfield, Massachusetts.[2]
Saverese joined KMOV in September 2002 as Anchor/Reporter for "News 4 St. Louis."
Donna Savarese left KMOV in October of 2007, without any fanfare or announcement of her next career stop.

Savarese was a recipient of two Emmy Awards in 2006. The first was for her work taking viewers behind closed doors to a profile a mysterious order of Catholic nuns known as the Poor Clares. The second was for her profile of Kimora Lee Simmons, the founder of the Baby Phat fashion label.
Savarese also received the prestigious Radio-Television News Directors Association Edward R. Murrow Award in 2006 for "For the Love of Laura," a report about the devotion of a young husband for his wife who remains in a coma after a serious traffic accident.
