Cansei de Ser Sexy (international album) (2006) Donkey (2008)

Donkey is the second album of Brazilian alternative band Cansei de Ser Sexy. The 14 songs (11 of which will be on the album) were recorded at Trama Studios, São Paulo, and will be released in July 21, 2008, succeeding the album Cansei de Ser Sexy.

Three months before the release, bassist Iracema Trevisan left the band, being replaced by then-drummer Adriano Cintra. The new drummer is American Jon Harper, formerly of The Cooper Temple Clause.

The album will be released in Canada and the United States by label Sub Pop, in Europe by Warner Bros. Records, and Japan by KSR. The first single is "Rat Is Dead (Rage)", which was made available for free download on the band's official website since April 28, 2008. In initial reviews of the album, critics have noted a more polished approach to CSS' sound and production techniques. [1]

The album was mixed by Mark "Spike" Stent.[2]
