Dondré Whitfield (born May 27, 1969 in Brooklyn, New York, U.S.), is an American television actor. Whitfield received formal training at the Performing Arts High School in New York City, New York. He gained his first acting notoriety on the sitcom The Cosby Show, portraying the role of Robert Foreman (the love interest of Tempestt Bledsoe's character Vanessa Huxtable). Since then, he has appeared in many television series, including The Jamie Foxx Show, Martin, and Girlfriends. Notably, he portrayed Terrence Frye on the daytime drama All My Children from 1991-1994. The role earned him nominations for three Daytime Emmy Awards and two Soap Opera Digest Awards. He was most recently seen in Ghost Whisperer and CSI: Miami.
He is currently married to actress Salli Richardson, and they live in Los Angeles with their one child.
