Donald Williams (basketball)

Donald Williams (born February 24, 1973) is an American professional basketball player.
Born in Garner, North Carolina, Williams played for Garner High School before going on to play at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The 6' 3" point guard/shooting guard from the University of North Carolina was the recipient of the Most Outstanding Player Award when North Carolina won the 1993 NCAA National Championship.[1]
After college, Williams went on to play professionally in countries such as Cyprus, Germany, Austria, France, Sweden, Finland, Greece, the Philippines, and the Dominican Republic. Williams never made it to the National Basketball Association. He resides in Raleigh, NC.
Donald Williams has now entered the coaching world as the varsity girls basketball coach at Raleigh Charter High School in Raleigh.
