Donald Meek

Donald Meek (b. July 14, 1878 in Glasgow, Scotland - d. November 18, 1946 in Los Angeles, California) was a Scottish character actor. He first worked as a stage actor and when coming to the United States, he appeared in several films, including The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Little Miss Broadway. Before becoming an actor, as a young teen, he fought in the Spanish-American War at eighteen and caught yellow fever. The price for it was losing his hair. After losing his hair at a young age, he became a character actor.

For his work in movies, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
