Donald Glover

Donald Glover is an American television writer and actor, best known for his work as a writer on the NBC series 30 Rock and with the comedy sketch group Derrick Comedy.

In 2008, rumors surfaced that Donald was to become a cast member of Saturday Night Live and that he would portray Presidential candidate Barack Obama. Donald refuted the SNL-rumors on his Facebook profile: "Just to let people know. I was NOT asked to SNL. I just auditioned and there's been a rumor spreading around the web. Just trying to clear the air."[1]

Donald is one of the most visible members of the sketch comedy group Derrick Comedy, along with Dominick Dierkes, DC Pierson, and Dan Eckman. Derrick's YouTube videos have gained them nationwide attention and have contributed to Donald Glover's recognition, as well as his newfound success in the television business.

Donald also makes music under the moniker 'mc DJ'. His music is of the electronic/remix ilk and is often made available for free download via his official site. His current album releases include Love Letter From An Unbreakable Bottle and Utterances of the Heart.
