Donald Cameron, 24th Lochiel

Donald Cameron of Lochiel (5 April 1835 – 30 November 1905) was a Scottish chieftain, the 24th chief ("Lochiel") of Clan Cameron.
He was the eldest son of Donald Cameron, 23rd Lochiel, and succeeded his father as chief in 1858. In 1875 he married Margaret Montagu-Douglas-Scott, daughter of Walter Montagu-Douglas-Scott, 5th Duke of Buccleuch; the couple would have four sons, including Donald Cameron, 25th Lochiel. From 1887 he was the Lord Lieutenant of Inverness-shire.[1]
