Donal Donnelly

Donal Donnelly is an Irish-American actor who was born 6 July 1931 in Bradford, England, but raised in Dublin.

He is a theatre and movie actor currently resident in New York.

He is a colleague, friend and schoolmate of fellow Dubliner, actor Milo O'Shea.

Donal Donnelly attended school at Synge St. Christian Brothers School in Dublin, Ireland, where he acted in school plays with Milo O'Shea, Eamonn Andrews ( BBC's Late Show), Jack McGowran ( "Beckett"), Bernard Frawley ( Seattle Repertory Co.), Jimmy Fitzsimons ( "Suddenly", with Frank Sinatra) brother of Maureen O'Hara, all under the direction of famous elocution teacher, Ena Burke. Donnelly toured with Anew McMaster's Irish repertory company before moving to England where he starred with Rita Tushingham in the movie The Leather Boys.
