Donabate railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Donabate railway station (Irish: Stáisiún Dhomhnach Bata) serves Donabate in County Dublin.
The station has two platforms; one for each of the two lines which runs through the station. While there are many buildings to the station, only one is in use as a ticket office which has a small waiting area and toilet facilities. There are two ticket issuing machines and one manned window for the purchase of tickets.
As the station is used by many people from the North County Dublin area, due to its proximity to the M1 Motorway, there are two large carparks which are often filled to capacity.
On many Commuter services, Donabate is the last stop before Connolly station and the trains are extremely crowded.
Donabate Railway Station has been subjected to a large amount of vandalism in the recent years.
