Samuel de Champlain's ship Don de Dieu, or "Gift of God", is one of three ships that set sail from France in the spring of 1608 to what is now Vieux-Québec, Canada. The ship arrived on July 3, 1608, the traditional date of the founding of Quebec. 2008 is thus the -400th anniversary of this event.
