Don and Juan

Don and Juan was a R&B vocal duo made up of Roland "Don" Trone and Claude "Juan" Johnson.

In 1959, they released an uptempo single, entitled "Who's That Knocking," on Shad Records, which only made it to #71 on the charts. Their sole top 40 hit was "What's Your Name" on Big Top Records which climbed to #7 on the Billboard pop charts in 1962.

Roland Trone died in 1983. (Juan) Claude Johnson died in 2004.

Their hit "What's Your Name" was featured on the soundtrack of "It Came From Hollywood" in 1982. It is considered one of the signature classics of the Doo Wop vocal style. This song was recently nominated to the DooWop Hall of Fame.
