Don Plett

Don Plett is the president of the National Council of the Conservative Party of Canada, the governing party in Canada.

Plett, the owner of a mechanical contracting firm in Landmark, Manitoba, has been president of the Conservative Party Council since its creation in 2003 from the merger of the Canadian Alliance and the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada.

Prior to that, Plett was the campaign manager for Vic Toews in 2000, where Toews defeated incumbent Liberal MP David Iftody by a wide margin.
