Donald Lee Cockroft (born February 6, 1945, in Cheyenne, Wyoming) is a former American football punter and placekicker who played thirteen seasons in the National Football League with the Cleveland Browns.
Of note is the fact that Cockroft served as both the Browns primary punter AND placekicker for the first 9 seasons of his career. He holds the distinction, along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Dave Green as being the last NFL player to lead his team in punting and kicking in the same season (1976).
