Don Campbell

Don Campbell is an American born in 1951 who invented the dance Locking, as Campbellocking.
In 1969 Campbell began making the dance popular around Los Angeles. Shortly thereafter he put out a record called "Do the Campbellock" and started a dance group called the Lockers. Some more familiar Lockers members were: Toni Basil, Shabba Doo (who starred in the movie Breakin') and Fred Berry ("Rerun") from the TV show What's Happening!!. Don Campbell can be seen dancing in the 1973 movie Wattstax.
