Don Bosco School, located in Alaknanda, New Delhi, India is an English language Catholic school for boys, conducted by the Salesians of Don Bosco and established in 1980. The school's motto is 'Ever more and Better ever'.
Don Bosco School has installed a quality management system (QMS) and an environmental management system (EMS) to ensure the complete satisfaction of the students and their parents regarding the holistic education that the school is providing and sensitizing the young minds to the importance of preservation of the environment and of ecology and the conservation of resources. The school is ISO certified for ISO 9001:2000 (QMS) and ISO 14001:1996 (EMS). The school has state of the art biometric fire safety and suppression equipment, and is virtually earthquake proof.
The school takes special care for the economically and socially weaker sections of society through outreach programmes like Ankur-Don Bosco, Don Bosco Ashalayam and Don Bosco Najafgarh.
It is recognized by the Directorate of Education, Delhi State and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (affiliation No. 27382). It has useful contacts in Italy, and the administration is well-trained, with qualifications from universities in Rome and Venice.
It is currently headed by Reverend Father Binny Isaac (principal), Reverend Father Vijay Soy (vice-principal) and Reverend Fr. Joseph (rector/religious superior and counsellor).
