"Don't Wanna Lose You" is a single by Gloria Estefan. It was released in 1989 and reached #1 in the US, where became on her 2nd #1 single on U.S.The single was certified Gold on U.S.

The song, is a pop/contemporary, or better now as a soft-pop song. It was the first solo #1 single of Gloria, her last #1 single "Anything for You" was earned but with the Miami Sound Machine on their 1987 "[[Let it Loose]"] album.

Gloria earned a nomination to the Grammy Award for "Best Female Pop Performance", but lost against Bonnie Raitt "Nick of Time". She received a nomination to an American Music Award for "Favorite Pop/Rock single" but lost again, this time to Milli Vanilli.
